Heads-up if you're planning to use a credit card
This part matters. Read it before you tap confirm.
Some banks — especially Chase and Capital One — classify crypto purchases as a cash advance instead of a regular charge. When they do, you get hit with:
A cash advance fee (usually 3–5% of the purchase, often around $10 minimum)
Interest that starts accruing immediately — no grace period, even if you pay your card in full each month
A higher APR than your normal purchase rate
MoonPay can't control how your bank codes the charge. Neither can we. The fee comes from the issuing bank, not from MoonPay or BingoMania. It's a quirk of how the credit card networks treat anything that looks like buying cash.
What to do about it:
Use bank transfer or a debit card instead. No cash advance risk, period.
If you're set on using a credit card, call the number on the back of your card first. Ask them: "Will a purchase from MoonPay be coded as a cash advance?" Takes two minutes. Could save you $30+ in surprise fees.
Try a smaller test purchase first if you're unsure. Buy $25 worth, then check your card statement the next day to see how it shows up.
We're not trying to scare you off the credit card option. Plenty of players use it without any issue. We just don't want anyone to find out about a cash advance fee the hard way.
Step 3 — Send Bitcoin to BingoMania (about 2 minutes)
Once you've loaded your MoonPay account with Bitcoin, follow these steps from the BingoMania site.
Go to BingoMania.com and sign in with your username and password. If you don’t have an account yet, create one first—it only takes a minute.
Once logged in, click the Deposit button.
In the Cashier, enter the amount you’d like to deposit.
Then select Bitcoin (BTC)
Step 2: Copy your unique wallet address
BingoMania will then display a unique Bitcoin wallet address and a QR code. This is where you’ll send your Bitcoin.
Use the copy button to paste the exact address — or simply scan the QR code with your phone. The system generates this address specifically for your deposit, so there's nothing to worry about.
Step 3: Send Bitcoin from Your Wallet
Open your MoonPay wallet and send the specified amount to the wallet address you copied from BingoMania.
You can either:
• Paste the wallet address you copied in Step 4, or
• Scan the QR code displayed on screen (if using a mobile wallet)
Double-check the address before confirming the transaction.
What Happens Next?
After you send your Bitcoin, here's what to expect:
Click "Check Status" in the BingoMania cashier to monitor your transaction.
Wait for blockchain confirmation — this usually takes 10 to 30 minutes, depending on network traffic.
Funds appear automatically — once confirmed, your deposit is credited to your BingoMania account and you're ready to play!
